Leo, a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, has a deep passion for supporting underprivileged children in his community. Growing up, he had the opportunity to participate in a community soccer program, which had a significant impact on his life. This experience instilled in him a sense of gratitude and a realization of the importance of providing support and opportunities for children in need.
With a strong desire to inspire and empower children to dream big and work towards their goals, Leo founded the LA Evolution developmental sports program in Los Angeles, California in 2017. Through this initiative, he has been able to help countless kids by offering scholarships and organizing free clinics for the local community. Leo's dedication and hard work have led him to establish a non-profit organization to further assist and uplift the youth.
Outside of his philanthropic endeavors, Leo enjoys spending quality time with his family. He is an avid sports enthusiast, both as a player and spectator. Additionally, he has a passion for traveling and exploring different cultures. Leo also has a love for music and has a keen interest in learning about various cultures and indulging in Brazilian barbecue.
Overall, Leo's commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children shines through his efforts as a volunteer and founder of the LA Evolution program. His love for his community, dedication to youth development, and zest for life make him an inspiring individual.
Eric Holmes is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but now resides in So-Cal. He ran track, played football, and did crew at the collegiate level. Eric first participated in football and track at Mt. SAC college. Eric has always had a hard work ethic and learned this early on in not only competing in athletics but also in academics. Eric’s rigorous practice/competing and studying regime at Mt. SAC enabled him to transfer to, study, and compete at the University of Southern California.
After playing sports at USC, Eric got into coaching and developing kids in soccer. He has worked with kids in after school programs both locally and internationally. He really enjoys his time mentoring kids on mental toughness and also the fundamentals of soccer.
Philanthropy is something very dear to Eric, with over a decade of involvement he has continued to participate in nonprofit work locally, in Africa, and in Brasil.
When Eric is not working, he enjoys live music and improving his pizza making skills. Eric also likes to travel and interact with different cultures all throughout our country and the world.
